happy week old ryleigh!!!

Today our newest member of the family is one week old!!! I can't believe it has already been a week! She has grown so much and gained about 3 or 4 ozs since she came home. We are all adjusting pretty well, her big sister loves playing with her.

idea for kids :)

If you have kids then I'm sure you have broken crayons laying around that you can make these cute crayon hearts. All you need is a muffin pan and broken crayons. Preheat your oven to 275 and fill the muffin pan half way with crayons (two colors make them look really cool) put the pan in the oven for 10mins and take them out, let them cool for a minute or so then place the pan in the fridge. They should pop out real easy. I am thinking of using them for Madys Valentines day party at her school this year.:)

day with family

Saturday we spent the day with my brother and sister-in-law and their kiddos walking around crown center and the plaza. We started off meeting up for lunch at fritz's and then made our way to the toy store and to other fun stores. After we walked around there we went to the plaza and first stop was Starbucks for some coffee and hot chocolate :) then some more shopping then dinner at 810 zone. We had a good time together. I'm so excited that they are so close that we can get together at a drop of a hat. Mady had such a great time with her cousins and had a hard time saying goodbye at the end of the night. but it is so nice to be able to say see u soon instead of see u in a couple of months. Halloween Fun

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Even though Mady ended up not wanting to wear her costume that we already picked out for her, which was a pink princess dress, she still looked cute and had a lot of fun trick 0r treating in our neighborhood. She ended up getting quite a bit of candy...which she asks for every minute she gets :)

Our goofy girl

The other night we were playing around and Ryan and I were trying to get Madyson in her jammies and she was being so goofy and decided to put her pants on her head and start posing around the house. She was all over the place doing the craziest things. She'll probably hate me one day for displaying these pics for everyone to see but I just couldn't resist :) There are some cute poses with her and her daddy too oh and her mommy :)

Mommy Daughter date day :)

Last Friday I decided to keep my girl home from school and spend the entire day with her. The weather was just perfect and so we decided to go to this farmstead called Deanna Rose. It is absolutely beautiful out there. We had a great time out there with all the animals! :)
